ABSTRACT
An old African saying states, “It takes the whole village to educate a child,” a message that should be embraced by all middle level educators. It is necessary for schools, families, and communities to become more collaborative in sharing the role of educating young adolescents. (Clark and Clark 1994; Davies 1991; Bembry 1998)
