ABSTRACT
The aim of this chapter is to enable you to develop your own hand notation system. No matter how simple or complicated you wish to make it, the same underlying principles apply. If you are hoping to develop a computerised system, the same logical process must be followed, so this chapter is a vital part of that developmental process too. To gain the most benefit from this chapter, Chapters 4 and 5 should have also been read.
