ABSTRACT

Assessment processes are akin to the biological cycles of humans; like people, assessments go through a natural evolution from their embryonic stage, teenage years, maturity, and if they are not careful, can age prematurely and die. Using transportation as a metaphor, transportation will always be an important theme in the world, but methods of transportation and the companies that are involved in providing transportation will evolve through this natural process of life and death. This is true of the need for assessment: assessment methods and assessment entities will evolve and change to adapt to the needs and realities of the environment.
