ABSTRACT

In this chapter, I explore the process of my sense-making during several days of facilitation for a project undergoing change. The story is simple and a relatively routine piece of consultancy. I wish to draw attention to my interactions with the group and how I was experiencing myself as I engaged with them. It is extraordinarily difficult to describe process and it is never possible to accurately capture the movement of our interactions, conversations and relationships. Obviously, further sense-making takes place as I reflect and write afterwards.
