ABSTRACT

This chapter follows the pattern of Chapter 7 and picks up common themes considered among the chapters written by colleagues from the eight different countries. Strategies to inform and engage with a wide range of personnel have included the running of training courses and the production of general and targeted resources. Colleagues in a number of countries have used research and scholarly writing to investigate and advocate the concept of physical literacy. Many colleagues have been successful in influencing policies and programmes, while all have met and addressed a range of challenges. All have ambitious plans regarding future development. It is seen as valuable to learn as much as possible from the experiences spelled out in the chapters and use these to support those others new to the field.
