Austerity Policies and the Feminist Movement in Spain

For the last 20 years, I've been taking part as an activist in the feminist movement in Spain. I relate more closely to left and Marxist feminists, both at the university where I work and in social and political organizations such as Izquierda Unida (United Left), and the open assemblies that developed in the streets after 15 May 2011. In my experience, all of these groups believe organizing anti-austerity politics to be a major challenge at present.
