The history of the Zenit Soccer Club as a case study in Soviet Football Teams

In this article, an attempt is made to look at how the Soviet football team was organized. ‘Zenit’ is now a rich and successful Russian football team, but during the Soviet era, it was an ordinary team that introduced the city of Leningrad to the USSR football league. By using rare archival materials and some other sources, we try to understand how it was managed and what was hidden.
