ABSTRACT
307The author investigates the history of negative representations of male bisexuality in Hollywood and foreign films and its impact on his personal development as a bisexual man. Arguing that bisexuality is everywhere in modern films but is never called bisexuality, the author asks whether it has become the sexuality that cannot speak its own name. Portions of this essay appeared previously under the title “Stereotyping Bisexual Men in Film,” published in Journal of Bisexuality 1: 2/3, 2001.
