ABSTRACT

In his introduction to this revised edition of Management Gurus, Andrzej Huczynski provides an account of the impressive sweep and quality of research into management gurus and fashions. In fact, this very book inspired and informed much of the work he reviews. Andrzej also recalls one of the questions that led him to investigate the guru and fashion phenomena in the first place: ‘Given the vast amount of research and theory in the field of management, why was such a small segment of that body of knowledge taught?’
