ABSTRACT
The social order presents rules for living that all human beings must learn in order to function effectively. These rules can be valuable to the adult in getting children to see the relationship between their own acts and the result of their actions. The social order consists of a body of rules that operates on an impersonal level and must be learned and followed in order for the child and adult to function adequately.
