ABSTRACT
It would be presumptuous for me to try to expound all the features of the most mature stage of human intelligence which Piaget calls formal operations. Instead I shall be mainly concerned with my own research and that of my associates although I should stress at the start that its implications are co-incidental; my own experiments were not designed to investigate Piaget's theories.
