Developing Skills to Become an Effective Key Stage 1 Subject Coordinator

Effective curriculum coordinators have a significant opportunity to improve children’s learning in their schools. That primary teachers need support does not seem to be in doubt (Harrison, 1994a). The challenge of working with colleagues to produce an effective programme in any subject area is one which will contribute to personal development and enhance the image of the profession.
