ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses how, by way of technology and communication, organizations are moving toward global virtual team (GVT) structures. In a GVT structured organization, technology media allows for greater communication and implementation of knowledge management. Practical and theoretical advantages to GVTs and how it benefits organizations are highlighted here.
