ABSTRACT

My Hispanic practice consists of Mexican and Mexican-American clients, as well as some who are Latin American or Caribbean. My wife and passionate friend of 40 years is Mexican, and I owe much of my appreciation of the culture to her and her family. As a workshop presenter, I am often very moved by the enthusiasm with which participants respond to Imago precepts and exercises. It strikes me that many of the prevalent themes of Hispanic culture resonate powerfully with Imago therapy, beginning with the theme of emotionality.
