ABSTRACT

During the past two decades, an increasing number of organizational scholars mulled over how positive psychology can be used to improve employee well-being and organizational effectiveness. These musings and related research efforts have resulted in an emerging literature that suggests a number of ways in which the world of work can be improved by positive psychological science. For instance, scholars in various fields, including management, leadership, and human resources among many others are interested in utilizing a positive work and organizations (PWO) perspective (Cameron, Dutton, & Quinn, 2003; Donaldson & Ko, 2010; Donaldson, Lee, & Donaldson, 2019b; Warren, Donaldson, Lee, & Donaldson, 2019; Warren, Donaldson, & Lee, 2017).
