ABSTRACT
The chapter gives a thorough description of the conflict resolution system of the Sumi tribe of Nagaland, clearly defining the traditional apparatus and giving cases of resolution from both within and without the village. This anthropological piece concludes by looking at the weaknesses and strengths of the systems it describes, looking to their future.
