Performing Diminuted Triplets

Count diminuted triplets using a combination of techniques studied thus far: use “+’s” on regular divisions and numbers (123) on the diminuted triplets, as shown below. This allows you to reinforce the beat and division while getting the sound of the triplet in your ear. If you have difficulty, begin by clapping divisions while articulating the rhythm, then change to clapping the beat while articulating.
