ABSTRACT
Dominant function chords all share scale degrees 7 and 2. Other important dominant sounding scale degrees are 5 and 4. Scale degree 6 may also be used.
When singing dominant function, the movable scale degrees in the minor mode are usually placed in their raised position (↑6 and ↑7).
