ABSTRACT

Social media sites, including social networking sites (SNSs), Twitter, blogs, video-sharing sites and buzz marketing sites, are vehicles for the sharing of various types of user-created content on the Internet and have permeated our daily lives. The diffusion of SNSs in particular has been remarkable. The assimilation of social media sites into our daily lives has attracted the attention of many researchers, as it provides new research opportunities in areas such as the motivation to use SNSs and impression management and friendship performance.
