ABSTRACT
I had just finished my PhD thesis about organizing processes in small firms when someone from SIDA (the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) phoned me and arranged for an appointment. They had been asked to participate in a programme set up by the World Bank. The purpose was to design support systems for entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Could I look into the project, meet with the researchers involved and give my general impression?
