ABSTRACT

In an open field on the outskirts of this mid-sized Swedish city lies the Minerva School. I can see one large and one smaller building in yellow brick, and a third, higher building, which is the gym. There is the characteristic pattern of high and narrow windows in the yellow brick, and the large open schoolyard, children's bikes, untrimmed bushes with small, yellow flowers. Not far off is a residential area with apartments. The architecture is typically Swedish, red and white painted wood.
