ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to summarize the preceding chapters, highlight important issues in each chapter, draw some general conclusions, and suggest some future research and development (R&D). The summaries follow the order of the chapters in this book. The book is divided into two major sections: Policy, practice, and implementation issues; and theory and research issues. Thus, the summaries of the chapters are also divided into two major sections. This chapter concludes with some research suggestions for Web-based learning.
