ABSTRACT
As Jews in this country and around the world celebrated the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, just fi fty days prior to the US presidential elections, they were all concerned about the candidates. Traditionally, it is a time of introspection about decisions made in the past and of considered resolutions for the future. For many Jews, especially the undecided, it may also have been a time to answer the question of which candidate would best serve the community, and refl ect Jewish values, earning the congregational vote.
