ABSTRACT
As stated at the very beginning of this book, community development is a boundary-spanning field of study addressing not only the physical realm of community, but also the social, cultural, economic, political, and environmental aspects as well. Because of the interconnection and complexity of these dimensions of community, the field is constantly evolving to face new challenges to maintaining and improving quality of life.
