ABSTRACT
The tendency to divide objects in the world into categories is one of the most basic and pervasive aspects of human cognition. As such, categorization and concept learning have received an enormous amount of research attention. Some of that research has focussed on the structure of both natural and artificial categories, whereas some has focussed more on the processes and procedures used by humans as they attempt to learn concepts and make category decisions.
