ABSTRACT
In interacting systems, biological properties often create cyclicities with a regulatory aspect. These systems often need to interact with other systems that can be considered as providing a “driving” input. Baker's chapter is a detailed analysis of a periodic system that is driven by a driving force with another period. His analysis shows that this simple physical configuration can reveal all of the complex possibilities of chaos.
