ABSTRACT
The use of hierarchical regression analysis for repeated measures data, although straightforward, is not well known and by perusing the developmental journals, Sackett has found that it is not used very often by developmental researchers. In the following chapter Sackett and Shortt describe this method, which often has greater power than repeated measures analysis of variance, and also can have greater flexibility for dealing with practical problems such as missing data and correlated independent variables.
