ABSTRACT
There are no school psychologists in Japan as frequently observed in other countries (Kicklighter, 1976; Meacham, 1983; Saigh, 1984; Whittaker, 1982). There are neither psychologists employed by the school system nor any school psychological practitioners employed outside the schools.
