ABSTRACT

Aggressive, antisocial behavior in youth is a significant problem manifesting itself in several domains of concern to mental health professionals. For example, the symptoms have an unwanted impact on numerous social systems, antisocial youth account for a large percentage of clinical referrals, and multiple child contacts for antisocial activity are predictive of adult psychopathology. Despite the widespread nature and prevalence of the disorder, treatment strategies have generally not proven to be completely effective in eliminating aggressive, antisocial actions.
