ABSTRACT
Because of the heavy burden of suffering it constitutes, childhood aggression deserves research efforts directed toward discovery of effective prevention and treatment techniques. The material reported in this book is a significant demonstration of what is being done in that direction. The two intervention programs described by John Coie and by Dan Olweus are good examples of treatment of aggression based on research results.
