ABSTRACT
The first section of this chapter will be concerned with a pharmacological analysis of negative contrast in consummatory behavior. In the second section the pharmacological profile of negative contrast will be compared to those obtained in three selected animal models of anxiety–operant conflict, punished drinking, and potentiated startle.
