ABSTRACT
During the past two decades, there has been considerable effort devoted to examining parent–child relations in the later years. One of the issues in which there has been increasing interest is the quality of family relations when adult children continue to live, or return to live in their parents’ homes. In this chapter, we summarize the findings of our study of family relations when the generations coreside, and discuss directions for future research on this topic.
