ABSTRACT
Reading the five chapters in this section on interaction and development, equipped with the helpful introduction by Pêcheux and Labrell, not only gave me new insights into Francophone approaches to developmental psychology, but also put into a new light the culturally and philosophically rooted scientific predelications of my own language community as compared to the Francophone and the Anglophone worlds.
