Psychophysiological reactivity has been hypothesized to contribute to the link between cardiovascular disease (CVD) and anger, hostility, and related behaviors (see Williams, chapter 6). An important question, then, is what evidence is there that anger, hostility, and related behaviors are associated with psychophysiological reactivity?
