ABSTRACT
We have been fortunate today to hear two opposite ends of the spectrum of the kind of work that can be done. First, Dr. Bohman introduced us to the information about the adoption studies supporting genetics and showed us a theory about how alcoholics might fall on a continuum between Type 1 and Type 2. This is a theory that is presently being evaluated with some data consistent, some data inconsistent, but it is a potentially viable focus for more research.
