ABSTRACT
Some discussants make a distinction between administration and management. Often the distinction resides in whether the emphasis is on dealing with objects or abstract decisions (“administration”) or with people (“management”). For the most part, in this chapter I use these terms interchangeably, choosing one over the other for emphasis or variety.
