ABSTRACT
Accountability—I’m against it. Or to be more precise, I am fully supportive of the principles of accountability and responsibility and what these represent. I am concerned, however, with how too frequently these are operationalized in many common approaches to establishing accountability, in particular, evaluations carried out for reasons of accountability.
