ABSTRACT
Any capable journalist knows that a news story is only as good as its sources. As a result, they often swear by—and at—their rolodex. Scholars as well have learned that journalistic sources are the key to scholarly studies of balance and bias. As a result, they too swear by—and at—the journalists’ rolodex.
