ABSTRACT
Institutions of higher education stand as the last stage of the current traditional educational system that begins with kindergarten. This educational system needs to be supported by a healthy and sustainable society. The current educational system was created and is maintained primarily to enable economic growth, especially by promoting further scientific discoveries and their technological applications. The cost of education keeps increasing as more and more human resources and research facilities for education are required. Future-oriented studies and system dynamics are both very important for every member of society, and they can be effectively acquired through a continuous learning process. For effective learning, students need a good teacher as their knowledge navigator towards future-oriented studies and system dynamics. The countermovement can be done by the two fields, future-oriented studies and system dynamics. IT technologies will help this movement through networking and lifelong learning.
