ABSTRACT

With a size of 160 km2, the principality of Liechtenstein (which is not a member of the European Union) is the fourth smallest country within Europe (after the Vatican City, Monaco, and San Marino). In the fall of 2007, the long wait of 100 years came to an end for the population of 36,000 inhabitants: for the first time in nearly 100 years, a brewery on home soil was up and running.
