ABSTRACT
The National Assembly of Vietnam has experienced 65 years of development. Since it was first convened in 1946 and up until 1975, Vietnam's National Assembly survived four terms in the context of the war of resistance and national construction. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, it encouraged and organized the Vietnamese people to gain the victory in two major wars for the independence and unity of the country. From 1975 to date, the National Assembly of Vietnam, through eight terms, has actively contributed to the process of developing the economy and societyoriented socialism.
