ABSTRACT

This chapter provides guidance to those who are likely to be involved in the presentation of coaching research. It discusses by taking readers through the wide range of contexts in which they may be required to present, and the range of factors that will impact on interaction with their audience. This will be followed by some practical recommendations regarding the planning and organization of the presentation, which will hopefully make this process easier to tackle. The advantages of a group presentation lie in the fact that many of the considerations listed above and below can be addressed by the group as a whole rather than all falling on the shoulders of one individual. With more people involved there exists a real possibility that key aspects of the preparation process will fail to be addressed, because group members think that someone else is going to take care of them.
