ABSTRACT
‘Getting paid’ is the title of this chapter, but that’s mostly a cheap trick to grab your attention. This chapter does discuss getting paid, but also covers issues around your legal responsibilities; your moral responsibilities; your employer’s responsibilities to you; joining a trades union or trade association; design advocacy; support networks; working with others and on your own; moral obligations; and, of course, getting paid. So that’s quite a lot.
