ABSTRACT
Tunisia has virtually no disputes or confl icts internally or externally. It is only marginally involved in traffi cking and the movement of illegal immigrants, in sharp contrast to the other two Maghreb states. Tunisia is on the Tier Two Watch List. It has developed a sound economy based quite largely on tourism. As a result, it has the highest living standards in the Maghreb.
