ABSTRACT
Focusing on specific elements within the shifting terrain of networked media, this essay engages with the more salient components that characterize youth Internet engagement. Youths’ production, consumption, play, and emergent political positioning are part of a critical media witnessing (Coleman & Ross, 2010) central to youths’ sociocultural production.
