ABSTRACT
After twelve years in the department of law at zenon University, Anna-Maria Harilaou’s evaluation for tenure was just completed. Colleagues and friends were supporting her all throughout the process, saying that she should not have any problems: Her dedication to the department and the students and her research should have helped her get through the process successfully. In the end she did, but she went through a very difficult time before she finally became associate professor.
