ABSTRACT
We close this volume concerning ideational perspectives on family change around the world with a brief review of some of the key findings from the previous chapters. We then focus on the research priorities flowing from what we know now and consider next steps for research on ideational influences on the family. Finally we close by encouraging other scientists and scholars to pursue research on ideational influences on family change more aggressively.
