ABSTRACT
The paradigm of Work Analysis has its origins primarily in ergonomics in France, Belgium, and Denmark (see Leplat, 1993), which historically has referred to “work analysis” and “activity analysis” rather than to “task analysis,” because the term task has connotations in English that are diἀerent from those in European languages and traditions.
