ABSTRACT
In chapter 11 we discussed in some detail the reactions of the sociological perspectives against the ideas of cognitive psychology-to motivate and explain such notions as situated cognition and distributed cognition. We could continue the exploration of any of the divergences listed in Table 14.1, but here we highlight just a few of the more salient divergences.
