ABSTRACT

I am trying to imagine you, the student reader, reading chapter 8. Is there a test tomorrow and are you reading the material for the first time, trying to memorize the main points, hoping in your haste you are not missing a critical point? Are you contemplating, maybe even taking issue with, one or two tantalizing ideas? Are you wondering, as I did in my classroom days, how can this chapter possibly relate to the real world of public relations, or your life in any way?
